How it works

Proximity hotspots are constantly sending marketing content via Bluetooth and wifi to the mobile phones of your Customers. The transmission is totally free and requires no technical knowledge from your Customers.

It works in 3 easy steps:

1. Device detection: the unit scans for Bluetooth or wifi-enabled devices located in a range up to 100m (dependent on phone)

2. Permission request: for every device BlueWaver sends a request for permission of sending files and has your company name on it - by asking permission, it is not spamming and wont ask them again.

3. Content upload: once user grants permission, advert is sent to each customer. Advertisements can be Images, Audio, Video, Business Card and Java applications direct to phones.

What can you send?

You can send the following files direct to your customers mobile phone

There are various multiple ad campaign modes including:

• Rotating Ads: Advert 1 is sent to phone 1, advert 2 is sent to phone 2, and so on.

• Per Visit Ads: Advert 1 is sent the first time a phone is seen, advert 2 the second time the same phone is seen, and so on.

• Scheduled Ads: Times slots are specified for each advert, down time can be scheduled by leaving a time slot empty.

• Different Welcome Messages: Bluewaver are one of the first to allow different welcome messages for each advert for user acceptance

Bluetooth and wifi marketing is proximity-based. Your choice of Bluetooth tranmitters will determine the distance covered by your marketing effort.

Multiple units can be linked to cover a much larger distance, increasing the number of potential customers who receive your ad.

All units are connected to a network, therefore the units can be manually updated over an internet or 3G connection.
